The QIR SDK has the following prebuilt packages:

* **Robotics image**: A flashable image based on the Qualcomm Linux release with the ROS core packages added and the QIR SDK included by default. This image is flashed directly onto the target device. You can directly use the robotics image to get an out-of-the-box experience.
* **Robotics proprietary image**: A flashable image that includes all components from the Robotics image and is flashed directly onto the target device. It also provides qrb-ros packages that depend on Qualcomm proprietary libraries, including camera, video, audio, colorspace conversion, and all the AI sample applications.
* **QIR SDK**: A package that runs on your host computer. It provides not only a runtime installation package with the out-of-the-box experience, but also a cross-compilation toolchain. Using that toolchain on your host computer, you can quickly cross-compile applications for the target device - see sample examples provided.
* **Robotics eSDK**: The package is installed on your host computer. It provides a complete Yocto environment that allows you to synchronize, modify, compile, and install applications. For details, see [Build the robotics image with the prebuilt robotics eSDK](./build-the-robotics-image-with-the-prebuilt-robotics-esdk).

<Note>
  **Note** Not sure which package to use?

  * Use the **QIR SDK** if you want to develop and cross-compile applications for the target device. Refer to the provided sample examples to get started.
  * Use the **Robotics eSDK** if you are looking to customize or rebuild the robotics system image at the OS or Yocto layer level.
  * Qualcomm Linux overlay configurations let you switch between the open source and the Qualcomm proprietary features without re-flashing the device. The robotics image is Config #1; the robotics proprietary image is Config #2. For details, see [Enable and evaluate Qualcomm Linux overlays on QIR SDK](./enable-and-evaluate-qualcomm-linux-overlays-on-QIR-SDK).

## Prerequisites

A [Host computer for QIR SDK](./get-started-with-qir-sdk#host-computer-for-qir-sdk) is available.

## Download the prebuilt packages for individual development kits

The following example applies to an Ubuntu host computer.
If you are using Windows, you can directly click the link in Step 1 to download the package, or copy the link and open it in a browser to download it.

<Accordion title="Try me">
  <Tabs>
    <Tab title="IQ-9075 Evaluation Kit">
      1. Download the prebuilt packages matching your device model and host architecture (x86/Arm®).

               <Note>
                 **Note**

                 * To view the host architecture, run the `uname -m` command.
               </Note>
      2. Extract the downloaded ZIP files with the following command:
         ```python theme={null}
         unzip <downloaded_file>.zip
         ```
         The following table lists the contents and respective locations:
         | | **Table: Contents and locations of IQ-9075-EVK prebuilt items** |
         | - | - |
         | **Content type** | **File path** |
         | Robotics image | `<decompressed_workspace>/images/iq-9075-evk/qcom-robotics-image-iq-9075-evk` |
         | Robotics proprietary image | `<decompressed_workspace>/images/iq-9075-evk/qcom-robotics-proprietary-image-iq-9075-evk` |

         | Robotics eSDK | `<decompressed_workspace>/images/iq-9075-evk/sdk/` |
      3. Check the directory structure with the `tree` command:

         ```bash theme={null}
         A successful operation should result in a directory structure similar to the following example:
